SunEX™ Lightweight Woven Nylon Wickaway Fabric (Sold per yard)

    The SunEX fabric is a clothing-weight sun-protective fabric made to block the Sun's UV rays, block stains and odor, and manage moisture. It has a cottony-soft hand for comfort and excellent breathability for warm weather comfort.

    • "Excellent*" UPF rating, blocking 97.5-98+% of the sun's UV rays
    • Antimicrobial finish to minimize growth of bacteria that cause stains and odor
    • CIBA Moisture Management to promote wicking of moisture away from the body

    Uses

    This is a great fabric for shirts, blouses, neck kerchiefs, zip-off travel and hiking pants, and other lightweight wear.

    Sun Protective Fabrics Care Tips:

    In general, Sun Protective fabrics are easy to care for. They are fast-drying, stain-resistant, colorfast, and able to hold their shape. They're great to pack and travel with.

    • Cold machine wash or lukewarm hand wash
    • Do not dry-clean
    • For best results, turn inside out when washing
    • Do not use bleach
    • Do not spot-clean with solvents. Use mild powdered detergents only when necessary
    • Tumble-dry at low speed and temperatures
    • For fabrics with some lycra content, hang or lay flat to dry
    • Do not iron with a hot iron. Use a cool iron if necessary
