1000 Denier (1000D) Solution Dyed Coated CORDURA® Nylon Fabric. CORDURA® material is a versatile nylon fabric with more strength and bulk than No. 7 Duck at little more than half the weight. The combination of a heavyweight 1000D CORDURA® nylon with a C6 DWR finish and a resin coating gives an extremely high tear and abrasion strength, water resistance, and long-term durability.

Resin Coated

Resin-coated 1000 Denier has been known to be used for military footwear and similar applications. The resin coating matters because gear needs to hold up through hard field use without the coating breaking down. The resin coating is resistant to cracking under repeated exposure to the elements while also being less heavy, more flexible, and more breathable.
